The planetarium has cutting-edge technology sky shows on the cosmos that’s sure to blow your mind.

Don’t worry if you’re not a rocket scientist, the B.M. Birla Planetarium presents astronomical concepts in a way that’s easy to understand for all ages. And for those more serious space enthusiasts, the planetarium offers workshops, sky observations, and even astro-photography sessions using their state-of-the-art Celestron 11-inch telescope.

Say goodbye to the myths of the sky and hello to the truth during the regular sky-shows. Discover the evolution of Earth, the mysteries of the cosmos, and the exploration of Mars and other planets. And for the little ones, interactive sessions are held after the sky-shows for school groups.

The Birla Planetarium also supports local amateur astronomers by helping them build their own telescopes, organizing astro-photography sessions, and even open sky-watch sessions for the masses.

With a seating capacity of 132, the shows are held in Hindi and are available on weekdays at 1 & 5 pm and on weekends at 1, 3 & 5 pm. Just remember, Monday is the weekly offday.
