Chunchi falls, is an almost 50 feet high cascade of falls in large canyon near Bangalore in Karnataka. It can be a good outing for a weekend trip from the city. The falls is fed by Arkavati and is in good flow during seasons. It lies en route to Mekedatu and Sangama in Karnataka. Mekedatu is a rocky valley, while Sangama is the meeting point of three rivers. There are numerous stream of water where one can take a dip in refreshing water. One has to walk a few hundred meters from the parking bay to the waterfalls.
