Cherai Beach is in Vypeen Island in Kochi. It is a sandy beach with rock reinforcements and coconut groves as well. A granite and cement tiled walkway completes the brilliant beach.

The Cherai Beach Bridge road provides a view of backwaters as well as the Arabian Sea. There are many beach side resorts with sea view as well. Boating is also available to venture into sea.
