Bhongir Fort is built on a massive monolithic rock near Nalagonda in Telangana. One of its older names is Tribhuvanagiri. The fort is on top of the rock, making the access difficult for the outsiders. The fort was built by Chalukya ruler Tribhuvanamalla Vikramaditya VI in the 10th century.
The fort spreads across 50 acres and has a height of around 500 . While climbing, one can spot-old cannons, trap doors and chambers.
