The Amrabad Tiger Reserve which is part of the Nallamala Forest track has rich Biological Diversity with several endemic species of flora and fauna. It is a continuation of Nagarjuna -Srisailam tiger reserve.

This Forest tract is home to the largest number of Tigers in Telangana State. The hilly terrain of this Tiger Reserve with deep valleys and gorges forms the catchment of the Krishna River.

The place is for natural lovers and it is a well maintained and pristine forests. The forest department arranges wild life safari for a group of 10 persons at a cost of INR 1200/-. It runs for one hour inside the forests.
