Madras Crocodile Bank is a large reptiles park in East Coast Road in Chennai. It is on the tourist circuit of Mahabalipuram. If you are visiting Mahabalipuram, you can cover this place as well.
It has a large collection of crocodiles- around 20 varieties , komado dragon, snakes, alligators. Feeding demonstrations on Sundays at: 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 4:30 pm (Jaws III), and 5:00 pm.
One can also visit the Gharial underwater by a see-through glass.
The park also conduct a night safari, where one can view the crocodiles in dark using torch light. It will be a thrilling encounter to view the glowing red eyes in the torch light
