Sadras Fort is a Dutch fort built near Chengapattu in Tamil Nadu. Sadras is the anglicized version of Sadurangapattinam. The town Sadras has history which dates back to late Cholas and Samburvarayars. There are insciptions which notes the name Sadiravasagan Pattinam and it may have gotten that name later.
The fort has a huge granary, warehouses, fortifications, a large garden and wells. The fort is now under the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and some part of the forts has been restored. Rest are still in dilapidated condition.
