Vivekanandar Illam is a museum of history of Swami Vivekananda. It is a brilliant 19th century architecture building facing the majestic Marina Beach.

The building was built by Fredrick Tudor to store ice and later it was remodelled by Biligiri Iyengar. Now, the building is leased to Ramakrishna Math by government of Tamil Nadu and it displays an exhibition on the life pf Swami Vivekananda.
