Vizag Zoo is located in the Seethakonda Reserve Forest in Andhra Pradesh. It covers over 625 acres and is a large zoo which has over 843 animals and 123 species.
The forest reserve is also home to many free ranging animals and birds owing to its existence in a forest area close to Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary.
