Bojjannakonda and Lingalakonda are two Buddhist rock-cut caves on adjacent hillocks in Sankaram village near Vizag in Andhra Pradesh.

The caves are believed to date between 4th and 9th Century A.D.. The original name was Buddhina Konda and later derived as Bojjanakonda.

The hills contain numerous monolithic stupas, rock-cut caves, chaityas and monasteries

The rock cut caves and pillars have the ever smiling Buddha sculpture – make you believe the world is serene.

The paddyfields around the hillock also provides the perfect setting of a world at peace.
