Velankanni Beach is an attraction for the visitors for Velankanni Church. It is a sandy beach very near the Chruch. There is also a watch tower to enjoy the sea view and the country side and church from above.
There are lot of street vendors and most part of the time it is crowded. If you need a quiet beach, the place has a lengthy coastline and one has quiet time elsewhere.
