Udayamarthandapuram Bird Sanctuary is a small protected area in Muthupet in Nagapattinam district of Tamil Nadu. It is near the Muthupet mangroves and during migratory season of October to January one can see a lot of resident and migratory birds here,
There is a sign board on East Coast Road in Nachikulam. From that point one has to walk around 500 meters to find birds.
It is a calm locality and a delight for bird lovers who can watch them without any disturbance of general tourist.
