“Climb to the top of Tosham Hill in the Bhiwani district of Haryana and discover the ruins of Tosham Fort!
Said to date back to the times of Prithviraj Chauhan, the fort has seen better days, with major portions destroyed after an aircraft crash in 1982. But don’t let that discourage you, the hilltop is home to the amazing spiritual and scenic beauty of Baba Mungipa Temple and the surrounding hills.
Take a sip of spiritual nectar as you admire the view. The climb to the top of the hill is easy, and you’ll find a cement chair and a small control room waiting for you. The hills are part of the remnants of the Aravali mountain series, but unfortunately, mining activities have severely damaged them, causing a lot of pollution from the crushers operating in the area.
The hills are barren, with no vegetation and no tourist attraction, but if you’re nearby, it’s worth a visit to see the remnants of Tosham Fort.”
