Thrissur Zoo is a century old zoo which has a collection of animals. The zoo is spread across 13.5 acres and is located in heart of the Thrissur city.
It has wild animals of tiger, lion, sloth bears and reptiles like cobras, crocodiles and interesting collections of birds.
The zoo complex also has museum which has a good collection of wood-carvings, metal sculptures, Kathakali figures, ancient jewellery. It also has a botanical garden.
