Thirumoorthy Falls area is a nice picnic spot with park, dam and waterfalls to spend quality time with nature. It is near Udumalapet and Pollachi in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. There is also Amanalingeswara temple is at the foothills. For the adventurous there is also a panchalinga waterfalls – 3 kilometers above the Thirumoorthy waterfalls. The waterfalls area has facilities like changing room and security to avoid any mishap. Be aware of monkeys and slipppery rocks.
