Simlipal National Park is a national park and a tiger reserve in Odisha.

It is one of the largest park covering 2,750 sq. kilometer. A part of Mayurbhanj Elephant Reserve, Hadgarh Wildlife Sanctuary and Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary are adjacent to Similipal National Park.

The park is home to Bengal tiger, Asian elephant, gaur, and numerous other wild animals.

This protected area is part of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves since 2009.

Besides, there are a large tribal community lives inside the forest area.

Those who are interested to stay- they have the option of state government natural camps. Besides, some private stay options are also available. It has two entry points- Pithabata & Jashipur.
