Pichavaram is an area of around 3000 acres full of mangroves. It is the second largest mangroves in the world. These are rare kind of ecosystem, where plants grow in the inter-tidal zone. To explore the mangroves, one can hire a tourist boat here.
From the boatride, one can enjoy these watery trees at close with the boatman acting as your guide.
