Pallava Caves is a group of 4 rock cut cave temples built during the 6th Century AD. It look similar to rock cut cave temples of similar temples which we find in Mahabalipuram, Badami, Rock Fort Temple, Trichy. There are few sculptures of Mahendra Varman, which we could deduce from the Brahmi script – a oldest script of 300 BCE.

The place is little bit far from Kanchipuram town, around 10 kms away on the Kanchipuram -Vandavasi and a bit of diversion after Dusi town.
