Nal Sarovar is a group of 36 small islands on a lake which attracts migratory birds.
This bird sanctuary is located at about 64 km to the west of Ahmedabad near Sanand village,Gujarat.
For the record, there are over 200 species of birds can be spotted here. The popular ones are pelicans, ducks and herons and storks.
It is also a good picnic spot with horse and boat rides to enjoy. For boat rides, negotiate for lower price.
