Hey there travel bugs, are you ready for a pilgrimage that’s unlike any other? Get your camera lenses polished because we’re heading to the Koottamunu Glass Temple in Wayanad, Kerala! This temple was built to honor the famous Jain saint, Parshawanatha Swami, and its a sight to cheer!

Nestled 20 km away from Kalpetta on the hillside Vellarimala, this temple is a perfect escape from the usual tourist hotspots. The interior of the temple is something else, my friends! It’s like being in a giant kaleidoscope with thousands of glass mirrors reflecting the image of the idols inside the main temple. Talk about a tantalizing decoration!

Not only is the Glass Temple a photographer’s paradise, but it’s also a nature lover’s dream. The temple is situated in the lush green hills of Vellarimala, making it a truly awe-inspiring experience. And the best part? There’s no entry fee! You can just walk in and soak up the good vibes.

To get there, you can hop on a local taxi or cab from Kalpetta. And make sure to visit from October to May for the best experience. So what are you waiting for? Add the Koottamunu Glass Temple to your travel bucket list and see the world in a whole new light!
