Indo-Portuguese Museum is a unique museum covering the history of India and Portuguese in Kochi.
It has a display of Portuguese art from 16th century. The museum is on the basement of erstwhile old Kochi fort. Sparsely visited by tourist, you can have a quiet time here. One can find a lot of Christian church artefacts and Portuguese influence on local culture during that period. It will also highlight the difference between Catholic and Protestant as well as Christianity from Dutch and Portuguese during that era.
The museum has five sections – Altar, Treasure, Procession, Civil Life and Cathedral
