One of the sightseeing places in Gwalior, famous as an archaeological museum in India, built by Man Singh during the 15th century for his most beloved wife, Mrignayani, who was a Gujar is Gujari Mahal, This palace is now turning into ruins and converted into a museum by the archaeological department in the year 1922. The museum has 28 galleries and 9000 artifacts. Some artifacts are as old as of the 1st century. Apart from this, valuable stones, gems, terracotta items, weapons, sculptures, paintings, inscriptions, pottery, etc. have also been displayed here. The sculptures of the Gujari Mahal Museum include the famous Shalabhanjik Yakshi, Trimurti Nataraja Ardhanareeswarar, and Yamraj. There are also photographs of the Madhu and Dhar region of the city which are 75 years old. There is also evidence related to the life of the great 15th-century singer Tansen. Any Indian historian or history lover must visit this museum to acquire knowledge about this place.
