Gugamal National Park is in Maharashtra.

Located in the picturesque hilly terrain of the Amravati District, this park is home to some seriously cool wildlife- yes, the majestic cat – Tiger. It could be just a few feet away when you enter the park.

Of course, we recommend keeping a safe distance unless you want to end up on the wrong end of a tiger tale.

But that’s not all there is to see and do at Gugamal. Culture lovers will enjoy getting to know the Korku tribal culture and their unique practices and traditions. And if you’re looking for even more excitement, hop on a jungle safari where you can drive through dense forests and get up close and personal with all kinds of wild critters.

Take a trek through the gorgeous landscape, set up camp under the stars, snap some incredible photos, or go bird watching and spot some rare species. And if you’re looking to explore beyond the park, check out nearby attractions like Makhla, Gavilgarh Fort, Bhootkhora, Narnala Fort, Bhim Kund, Chikaldhara, and Panchbol Point.

When it comes to flora and fauna, Gugamal National Park definitely doesn’t disappoint. With over 750 different plant species and an extravagant fauna that includes everything from Bengal tigers to crocodiles, you’re sure to see something new and exciting around every corner. And for all you animal lovers out there, there are even 260 different bird species to keep your binoculars busy.
