This is the largest inbuilt aquarium in Asia! And you know what that means? Huge tanks filled with sea creatures of all shapes and sizes!
From lobsters to sharks, from rays to butterfly fishes, this place has it all. And we’re not just talking about your everyday species. MARC has a collection of sea anemones, horse shoe crabs, and other not-so-commonly-heard-of organisms. Trust us, your Instagram followers are going to be blown away by the pictures you take here.
But it’s not just a tourist attraction. MARC is also a research center that’s equipped with high-end filtration and seawater circulation systems. And did we mention that there’s no entrance fee? Yup, it’s completely free!
So what’s the best time to visit, you ask? Well, we recommend going between 10 am and 4 pm. But if you want to see the place at its busiest, go between 2 pm and 3 pm. And if you have kids, this is the perfect place to take them. They’ll be in awe of the various kinds of sea creatures that lie beneath the mysterious sea level.
The major attraction is the whale skeleton on display! How cool is that? The kids will absolutely love it.
