Camel’s Back Road, is a scenic road in Mussoorie
If you like a long walk, this road could be a nice spot, away from the bustle of Mall Road.
This road stretches up to 3 km and is flanked by rocks shaped like a camel’s hump. No wonder it’s called the Camel Back Road!
Early morning joggers, sunset-watchers, and peace seekers come here to enjoy the tranquillity and soak in the beauty of Doon Valley and the Himalayas. A 180-year-old British cemetery on the way adds to the historical value of this place.
But be prepared to face the crowd, especially during the summer months. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle, you can take the longer but quieter route through this road, which is situated at the back of The Mall.
The extra effort offers a quiet and relaxed stroll in the cool surroundings.
