Cabo de Rama Fort is in south Goa. It was built during the 1760s by the Portuguese. The territory was captured from Raja of Soonda, after he surrendered his territory to them in return for protection against Hyder Ali of Mysore.

The fort now in ruins, had once 21 guns and served as a government prison till the year 1955.

Now, it is a popular attraction, due to the brilliant view of the beach and blue sea from top of the fort.

It also provides adventurers a chance to explore the wilderness side of beach.
