Ashvem Beach is a hidden gem in northern most part of Goa.
It is a remote part long way from urban dwellings but with resorts and homestays around.
The place is good for a long stroll as the beach covers over 1.5 kilometres.
There are small beach shacks here but they serve international cuisine from French to Russia.
Stay overnight at one of the low-cost huts or check out the upscale beach resorts in the quieter area of the beach. This section is known as Palm Grove, due to its collection of trees. The accommodation is mostly in the form of comfortable beach huts, as environmental protection laws prevent the building of new brick structures.
