Agori Fort

Agori Fort is a fort in north Goa.

It is near Sinquerim beach. It is a popular tourist attraction.

The view from fort above is good. One can enjoy the beach breeze from the fort. It is a well maintained fort with a lighthouse.

The sunset view is also beautiful.

It is a Dutch built fort, which has a lighthouse. The main purpose the fort is to provide fresh water supply from spring nearby to ships. It has a large water storage tank with a capacity of 23,76,000 gallons of water.

Till the year 2015, Agauda Fort is also a part of Central Prison.
