Kelva beach-sometimes also known as Kelva or Kelva beach is a pristine strech of sea shore and a popular weekend gateway for tourists from Mumbai.

Kelva Beach, also known as the hot spot for “panmala” cultivation, is a perfect for a weekend getaway from Mumbai. But beware of the crowds, especially on weekends! If you’re lucky enough to have your own ride, it’s a quick drive away, or hop on the train to Kelva Road station and you’ll be there in a jiffy.

The beach is a great spot for couples, with plenty of snacks and trinkets to be found in the fair-type shops. And don’t forget to catch the sunrise or sunset – it’s worth the trip. Just make sure to hit the road before dark, as it’s about a half-hour drive from the train station.

If you are interested in temples, there are few like Shitladevi temple, Ashapuri Mandir etc.,
