Legend has it that Tiffin Top got its name after people started having lunch at the top of the hill on Dorothy’s Seat. Whether true or not, we can’t deny that having a meal with such a picturesque view would be quite the treat!

Tiffin Top is a famous tourist attraction in Nainital, with adventure activities like rappelling and rock climbing offered in addition to hiking. The hill is surrounded by Cher, Oak, and Deodar trees, and on a clear day, one can even catch a glimpse of the majestic Nanda Devi.

To reach Tiffin Top, one can hike for about 4 kilometres or take a pony ride from Bara Pathar. Just be careful, as the terrain can be quite rough! Hiring a pony will set you back around INR 500 to INR 700 per person for a round trip.

Once you reach the top, take some time to soak in the breathtaking views and capture them on camera. The surrounding peaks of the Aryapatta Hills and the charming beauty of Nainital are truly a sight to behold.
