Sri Vilvanathesvarar Temple is a Lord Shiva temple in Thiruvallam in Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu. It is one of the padal petra sthalam and Lord Shiva here was worshipped by Thirunavukkarasar and Thirungnasambandar.

The Shiva lingam is a swayambu moorthy. According to legends, there was a priest who was troubled by a Asuran and Shiva has asked Nandi to help the priest. Hence, in this temple Nandi is facing the entrance of the temple watching out for the Asura, than facing the Lord.
