Sri Uthamar Kovil is a Lord Vishnu temple on the outskirts of Trichy city in Manachanallur Taluk in Thiruchengodu road in Tamil Nadu.

The temple was constructed during the 8th century by Cholas. with later contributions from Vijayanagara kings and Madurai Nayakkars.

Yes. It is one of the 109 divya desam and the Lord Vishnu here was worshipped by Thirumangai Alwar. According to legends, Lord Vishnu came here as Pichandavar and worshipped Lord Vishnu here and hence it is also known as Pitchandavar Kovil. It is also a unique temple, where Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva and Lord Bramha can be worshipped here.

The temple is on Trichy to Salem road and is on Pichandar Kovil bus stop. It is very near Utthamar Kovi railway station.
