Sri-Subramanya-Swamy Temple is in Kundrathur town in Kanchipuram District. It is on the outskirts of Chennai. The temple is hardly 11 kms away from Chennai airport.
It is located on a scenic hillock overseeing the Outer Ring Road of Chennai.
According to historians, the temple was built by Chola kings in 11th century. It is also believed that Lord Muruga worshipped Lord Shiva here.
