Sri Arthanareeswarar Temple is a Lord Shiva temple in Thiruchengodu in Erode district of Tamil Nadu. It is one of the padal petra sthalam and Lord Shiva here was worshipped by Thirugnasambandar. It is located on a hill top which is around 1900 feet and one needs a moderate level of fitness to climb all the 1200 steps. There is also a motorable road which takes upto the temple entrance.
One can enjoy the temple in the evening and the temple closes by 6.00 PM.
