Pondicherry Museum is an arts and history museum located in Pondicherry. It has a special collections of bronze statutes of bronze period. It has also an impressive collections of antique greek coins used in trade during 2nd BC. From archaeology, we come to know that Pondicherry was one of trading port for Greeks.
It also has stone sculptures from the Pallava and Chola dynasties and fossilized tree trunk.
