Odisha State Museum is one of the oldest museum in the region.
It is well maintained and has eleven sections, viz, Archaeology, Epigraphy, Numismatics, Armoury, Mining & Geology, Natural History, Art & Craft, Contemporary Art, Patta Painting, Anthropology and Palmleaf Manuscripts.
It has rich display of Buddhist heritage of the state.
The entry fee is INR 20/- for adult and INR 10/- for children. For camera, pay extra INR 100/-. The museum is closed on Mondays.
