Khammam Fort is a popular fort. Khammam was once a stronghold of Kakatiya dynasty.
The fort was built during the late 10th century and changed various hands thereafter. The last king who developed the fort was Qutub Shahi. The fort carries blends of architecture of various periods.
The view from top of fort is nice and it provides a sky view of Khammam city below. Besides the sunrise and sunsets are spectacular here.
