Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath is a art museum located in Bangalore. The complex has 13 galleries and it displays a permanent collection of paintings, sculptures and folk art.
There are five galleries which are rented out for exhibitions of works by artists of repute. The folk art collection showcases Mysore paintings and leather puppets.
The Parishath conducts special programme every now and then to promote art.
The place is also a wonderful market for art shoppers for home decor and traditional stuff. There are also art/crafts/traditional clothing stalls for shopping present during most of the times.
