Kanthkot fort is in Bhachau Taluka of Vagad area of Kutch in Gujarat.

The fort built in 8th century is believed to be built by Chavdas. It is on an isolated hill and covers around three miles (5 km) in circumference.

The fort has a colorful history with changing hands from Muhammad Ghazni to many regional players – Chawdas, Solankis, Vaghelas and finally to Jadejas and British.

For the visitors, it is a nice place for a soft trek and to spot some peacocks around.
