Kakolat waterfall is on the Kakolat hill near Nawada in Bihar.

It is a popular waterfalls and mostly crowded at all times. Though there are other spectacular falls in the state.

It is a mesmerizing fall when the stream falls from a height of 150 feet. The pool below the waterfalls is a nice place for swimming.

According to legend, a python who was cursed to live here got rid of it by Pandavas. It is also believed that a dip in the pool will get rid of any curse of snake birth.
