Jaipur Zoo

Jaipur Zoo is a fun place for kids as well as adults in the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan.

The Zoo is a 35-acre oasis filled with the richest fauna in all of Rajasthan. This zoological garden is not only the largest of its kind in the state, but also one of the finest sanctuaries you’ll ever lay your eyes on.

With the goal of preserving and conserving the wildlife, the Jaipur Zoo is divided into two parts – one for mammals and the other for reptiles and birds. But the real highlight of this zoo is the fourth largest gharial breeding farm in the country. These endangered crocodiles are the main attraction, but don’t worry, the zoo has plenty more wild creatures for you to marvel at.

The zoo is a hit among school kids who are looking for a fun day out, and it’s also a popular spot for research students who are interested in botanical or zoological studies. With 71 species of mammals, birds, and reptiles, you’re sure to see something that’ll leave you in awe. The zoo is open from Wednesday to Monday, with different timings for summer and winter months. The entry fee for Indian nationals is INR 15 and for foreign nationals, it’s INR 150.
