Are you ready for some serious spiritual awakening mixed with a healthy dose of fun and laughter? Then hop on board as we take a trip to the Sri Radha Madhav Temple, better known as the ISKCON Temple in Chandigarh!

Situated just 4 km from the Chandigarh Bus Station, this temple is the perfect place to connect with your inner peace and find a sense of grounding. And if you’re a follower of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, then this temple is definitely a must-visit.

The temple boasts a stunning architecture, complete with large rooms for the temple priests, a garden, and even a guest house. And the cherry on top? The temple has a huge hall for devotees to pray, which is said to be the largest in any North Indian temple.

If you’re lucky enough to visit during a festival like Janmashthami or Rath Yatra, then the temple will be in full swing with Hare Krishna chants and kirtans. And don’t miss the special dance performances held during the aartis. Who knew prayer could be so much fun?

But the fun doesn’t stop there. The temple is surrounded by an array of shops where you can buy souvenirs and sweets. And if you’re up for it, head to the land surrounding the temple, where you’ll find dense grass and greenery, perfect for a picnic with the family on a sunny day.

And if you’re worried about timing, fear not! The temple is open from 4.30 AM – 12.45 PM and 4.15 PM – 8.30 PM, so you can fit it into your schedule.

So what are you waiting for? Come join the six daily aartis offered by twenty-four brahmanically trained priests to the temple deities, and along with six corresponding bhoga offerings.
