Inside the temple, you’ll find various halls where teachings from the holy books of Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam are preached. Aside from all the preaching, there are plenty of other activities to keep you busy at the temple. The daily routine includes chanting the Krishna mantra, morning and evening aarti, Gita discourses, bhajans, and mantras. And let’s not forget the prasadam – the temple’s delicious lunch that’s available for visitors at 1:30 PM.
If you’re planning on visiting the temple, Sundays are the best days to go. You’ll get to attend aartis from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and enjoy the spiritual vibes. And don’t worry about leaving your phone or camera behind, because you can carry them inside the temple.
Now, getting to the temple is easy . It’s only 2 km away from the Guwahati temple, and you can take an auto-rickshaw from the railway station. And if you’re lucky enough to visit during Janmashtami or Jagannath yatra, get ready to be blown away by the festival celebrations!
