Elgandal Fort or Veligundula stand tall into the sky sharing the story of Karimnagar. Though now mostly in ruins with crumbling walls, this magnificent fort still carry the stamp of every dynasty that had once embraced its illustrious portals – Kakatiyas, the Bahmanis, the Qutub Shahis, the Mughals and the Nizams.
From above one can observe the lush green countryside and the beautiful Manair reservoir. It can be accessed from the gateway. d on a very scenic hillock, the fort gives a beautiful view of the Elgandal town. The fort is accessed with its only entrance gateway.
