Dehu Gatha, is a temple for Sant Tukaram Maharaj in Pune.
As you enter the temple, you’ll be welcomed by the imposing and larger-than-life statue of Sant Tukaram Maharaj himself, sitting gracefully with a Veena in his hand.
The walls of Dehu Gatha are adorned with carvings of all the Gathas on Sant Tukaram, and we’re not talking about just a few. Nope, there are over 4000 of them! But don’t worry, you don’t have to read them all, just three would suffice. Plus, it’s written on white marble tiles, so it’s not like you’re straining your eyes trying to read small fonts.
