First up is the Tungabhadra River boating area, located near the Virupaksha temple. It’s a popular spot for both locals and tourists, so you’ll have plenty of company. The price is also very cheap, only ₹50 per person. Just be aware that it can get crowded, so it might not be the most relaxing ride.
If you’re looking for a more serene experience, head to Sanapur Lake. The stunning blue-green water is surrounded by boulders, and it’s the perfect place to relax. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricier, with fares ranging from ₹500-600 per Coracle. But if you’re willing to splurge, the views are worth it.
Last but not least is Sanapur Waterfalls. Here, you can combine your Coracle ride with some cliff jumping for a truly unforgettable experience. Prices vary depending on the number of people in your group, but generally range from ₹100-200 per person. Just keep in mind that there aren’t a lot of Coracles available, so you might have to wait your turn.
