Chitrangudi Bird Sanctuary is a lake which is protected forest and a lake in Kanjirankud and Chitrangudi in Ramanathapuram district in Tamil Nadu.
During the season of November to February, one could see Ibis, Egrets, Herons , Ducks and painted storks.
However, before you approach this place, check out the water in the lake, with irrigating tanks going dry, there will not many birds, even during monsoon.
