Chethalayam Falls is at Chelthayam near Kerala and Karnataka border and Sulthan Battery area in Kerala. It can be reached from Irulam and Pulapally-Sultan Battery highway to Chelthayam and then a 2 kilometer trek to waterfalls. One needs forest department permission to enter the area. However, now the entry into this waterfall is banned due to numerous tiger attacks, as this falls lies near the Bandipur Tiger reserve area.
