Welcome to the pink city of Jaipur, where creativity and diversity come alive at Chandpole Bazaar!

This market, located in the heart of the old walled city, is a shopaholic’s dream come true. With over 350 unique stores spread over an area of 1 km, you can spend hours exploring the amazing artefacts, clothes, jewellery, spices, and more that are sold here.

Did you know that Chandpole Market is almost three centuries old? Yes, you read that right! This historic market was built in around 1727 AD and is one of the first markets of the Pink City. The market has been constructed in the traditional manner, with pink walls along its borders, and there’s a beautiful, towering gateway named after the market itself, called Chandpole Gate, that guards one end of the bazaar area. At the other end, you’ll find the Choti Chaupad.

Chandpole Market is the perfect place to do your last-minute souvenir shopping or to pick up some essentials for your further trip. The market is famous for its amazing and intricate marble sculptures, which are a specialty art form of Rajasthan. You’ll find decor items of different sizes and designs sold at a wide range of prices all over the market. And if you’re looking for traditional Indian garments like sarees, salwar suits, and kurtas, this is the place to be!

One of the major attractions of Chandpole Bazar is the street called Khazanewalon ka Rasta, where you can bargain and buy some of the best marble sculptures you will ever lay your eyes on. Marble sculpting is very much indigenous to this part of the country, and you must try to get your hands on a traditional piece – be it small decorative items for your shelves and racks or bigger statues for your floor decor.

But that’s not all! You can also buy authentic dry fruits, timber and wooden handicrafts, embroidery and mirror work artefacts, lac, glass and metal ornaments, and Indian snacks and sweets in plenty. The market is truly a one-stop-shop for all your needs!

If you’re worried about how to get to Chandpole Market, don’t be! The nearest accessible public transport systems are metro, bus, and auto. The Chandpole Metro Station and Choti Chaupad Metro Station are both only a few steps away from the two gates of the market respectively. Sindhi Camp Bus Stand and Choti Chaupad Bus Stand are also within 1-1.5 kilometers, and Jaipur Railway Station is within 2 kilometers from the market. And if all else fails, you can always take a cab in this city of Jaipur.
