Benog Wildlife Sanctuary is place with abundant natural beauty. It is a place for adventure enthusiasts, bird watchers, and nature lovers alike.

Nestled just 11km from the Library End Road in Mussoorie, this sanctuary is home to a plethora of exotic species like deer, leopards, and the almost-extinct mountain quails. And if you’re lucky, you might spot the elusive red-billed blue magpie.

This sanctuary spread across 339 hectares and is surrounded by the snowcapped peaks of the Himalayas and breathtaking views of Chaukhamba and Bandarpunch peaks.

And if you’re up for some adventure, we recommend taking the forest walk to Benog Wildlife Sanctuary, starting from Clouds End. This scenic nature trail is suitable for people of all age groups and fitness levels, and it leads you to the highest mountain peak in the Mussoorie region at 2,250m – the Benog Hill Peak. It’s the perfect spot for photographers to capture the stunning sunrise views, hikers to explore the wilderness, and nature lovers to soak in the tranquility of the surroundings.
